RADIATION CAMOUFLAGE AFTERCARE: PRE-CARE
Always consult your physician before booking a Radiation Camouflage Tattoo if the scar is less than 12 months old.
- Limit to 1 caffeinated drink on the day of your appointment.
- Avoid taking alcohol 48 hours prior.
- Avoid taking any blood thinning medication like ibuprofen, naproxen, Vitamin E, fish oil or aspirin 1 month before the procedure, with your physician’s consent.
RADIATION CAMOUFLAGE AFTERCARE: POST-CARE
Be sure to always wash your hands before touching the area to avoid any infection.
- Keep the area clean and use aftercare cream provided
- No swimming for 14 days.
- Do not get the Radiation Camouflage Tattoo area exposed to the sun for 14 days.
- Do not do heavy workout for 5 days. Excessive sweating could impact pigment retention.
- Do not use harsh soaps, ointments, and lotions on the area for the first 7 days.
- Do not pick at the scabs, nor scrub, rub, or any form of picking, them. Let the scab fall off by itself.
